SPICE Interesting Events
The interactive map provides a Carrington field-of-view (FOV) viewer. When the Carrington coordinates of all four FOV corners can be determined, the four valid corners are connected by great-circle arcs. For observations close to the solar limb or at high latitudes, the Carrington coordinates of all four corners cannot always be determined because part of the FOV lies outside the solar disk. In such cases, only the available valid corner points are shown.
