Traceability for atmospheric total columne ozone

The Joint Research Project "Traceability for atmospheric total columne ozone" aims to significantly enhance the reliability total ozone columne measured at the Earth surface with Dobson instruments, Brewer-Spectroradiometer and Array-Spectroradiometer.

New methods of observation (techniques, instruments and software) are developed to provide traceable total ozone columne measurements with an uncertainty of less than 1%.

The dissemination of the improved ozone traceability and the developed tools and methods will occur by a large field intercomparison of spectroradiometers organised at the end of the project at Teneriffe Island, Spain.

To participate at the Intercomparison, please check-out the collaboration opportunities here!

ATMOZ is jointly funded by the EMRP participating countries

within EURAMET and the European Union.
